Hallowed Be Thy Name: Elohim, Yahweh, Adonai

You can believe God is powerful. You can believe he's personal and close. And you can still never actually let him be Lord of your life. In Week 1 of Hallowed Be Thy Name, Pastor Robbie Foreman opens three names, Elohim, the powerful creator; Yahweh, the God who simply IS; and Adonai, the one in charge, and makes the case that most of us aren't missing information about God, we're missing surrender. Watch what happens in Genesis 3 when the serpent tempts Eve using only the name Elohim, never Yahweh, making God sound powerful but not personal.
