Upside Down | The Book of Mark | Together Church

In the kingdom of God, the currency is need, not achievement.

Mark 10 puts two people side by side: the rich young ruler who had done everything right and walked away sad, and Bartimaeus the blind beggar who had nothing and received everything. James and John ask for the best thrones. Bartimaeus asks for his sight. Jesus asks both the same question. Their answers couldn’t be more different.

In this message, Pastor Robbie Foreman unpacks the upside-down economics of the kingdom of God — and the one thing Jesus loved the rich young ruler enough to ask him to release.

Scripture: Mark 10:1-52 (ESV)
